PLEASE get rid of shaking notification bell

The shaking bell icon is extremely irritating and makes me not want to use the platform. I don't want to have to mark notifications as read just to get it to stop. This makes me not read notifications because I just want to get it to stop shaking. Others have commented with the same issue. It would be much better if it was just a stationary badge icon.
