Get rid of chat support popup and shaking notification bell

Hi, love the site but the chat popup that comes up every time I open the page is really annoying. I get frustrated having to close it every time. Is it really necessary? I'm sure its presence is quite obvious without it having to obstrusively pop up like that. Similarly the movement of the notification bell is really distracting too and it's annoying to have to Mark All as Read in order to get it to stop shaking. Thanks.
