Extremely disappointed – Insane credit consumption on simple lyrics translation
Hi,
I am very angry right now.
I simply used the multi-chat to translate some song lyrics.
With Claude Opus 4.6, it already charged me 1,000,000 credits. I thought that was already a lot, but okay…
Then I tried the same task with GPT-5.4 Pro and it consumed 6 million credits on the first try, and then 15 million credits on the second one.
15 million credits for translating lyrics?!
How is this even possible? This is completely ridiculous and unfair.
I do not have infinite credits. This kind of pricing makes the platform unusable for normal users like me.
I demand that you:
Immediately check these transactions because this consumption is absurd.Refund most or all of the credits I lost on this.Drastically lower the credit costs for translation and multi-chat features.
I am really disappointed and frustrated. Please fix this quickly.

It’s becoming apparent that this is the nefarious structuring of these AI chats. I’m experiencing this on multiple models and the usual stunt is to avoid direct answers to clear prompts and dance around the possibilities, and formulate repetitious outcomes. I found ChatGPT notorious for this. Remember, corporations are beholden to maximize profits for the shareholders, despite what they say about how much they may care for their consumers, they don’t. It’s a money making game...
